Part Time Nursery Assistant

Claverham Day Nursery in Battle East Sussex is recruiting for a part time Nursery Assistant to join our friendly team. The position available is 3 days a week 52 weeks per year.

The position is paid on Single Status Grade 3, Point 7 3 days a week £14,611 per annum pro rata.

We believe in providing a safe, stimulating, and fun environment where children can explore, learn, and grow. Our nursery is known for its warm, welcoming atmosphere and our commitment to high-quality early years education. The role requires an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and Education or a relevant equivalent qualification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the creation of a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Help monitor and support children’s development and well-being.
  • Build strong relationships with children and colleagues.
  • Ensure the safety and hygiene standards are maintained at all times.

Requirements:

  • A genuine passion for working with young children.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Flexibility to work on an as-needed basis.
  • Previous experience in a childcare setting is a plus, but not essential.
